Terms of Service

Last updated: October 3, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Audio to Sheet Music: Piano ("the App") published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to them.

1. What the App does

The App sends piano recordings to our server, which transcribes them automatically into sheet music, MIDI and MusicXML. Transcription needs an internet connection and depends on our server and our processors being available.

2. Results are automatic

Scores are produced by software, not by a person. They may contain wrong notes, rhythms, bar lines, keys or hand assignments, and how good they are depends on the recording and the piece. Check a score before relying on it, for example before performing from it or handing it out.

3. Your recordings and music

You keep all rights to your recordings. You give us permission to store and process each recording only to transcribe it for you, as described in the privacy policy. Only upload recordings you have the right to use. A piece of music may be protected by copyright even when you play it yourself: transcriptions are for your own study and practice, and you are responsible for how you use and share them.

4. Free previews and subscriptions

Free previews transcribe the first 30 seconds of a piece, up to 3 per device. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, sold and billed by Apple. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your Apple ID's subscription settings. A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Premium includes up to 60 pieces a month, each up to 10 minutes long. This fair-use limit keeps the service affordable for everyone.

5. Acceptable use

Use the App only for lawful purposes. Don't upload recordings you don't have the right to, try to get around the free-preview or fair-use limits, access our server other than through the App, overload it, or reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the App except as the law allows.

6. Third-party components

The App uses open-source software and model weights under their own licences, listed on the licences page and in the App's Settings.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or stop parts of the service, for example if our processors become unavailable. Scores already saved on your device stay there.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bulpara Inc is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from its use, or for errors in any transcription.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
